Being an athlete myself I feel there is a requirement of strength training for athletes. So I decided to go the gym. One day when my friend asked me whether I would like to go to gym I agreed at once. First I contacted the gym instructor. Squats and simple push-ups were my first day tasks. The next day I performed sit-ups, shoulder press and many other exercises. I was really surprised to see the different types of machines at the gym for different kinds of exercises. However some people prefer doing exercises without using weights. I preferred using weights because I wanted a strong and tough body in a very short period of time. Now even some of my other friends who are athletes have started going to the gym. I really enjoy myself performing the different exercises at the gym. Now I visit the gym regularly and I am even a member of the gym.
